INGREDIENTS : For Crispy Veg Potato Tikki

  • 8-9 Boiled potatoes
  • 3/4 tablespoons Oil
  • 1/2 cup frozen green peas
  • Ginger
  • 1 Teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon juice
  • Garam Masala
  • 2/3 tablespoons finely chopped Green Coriander
  • 2 Finely Chopped Green Chilli
  • 3 TablesSpoon Corn Flour
  • Salt as per taste

DIRECTIONSFor Crispy Veg Potato Tikki

Step 1 : Boil the potatoes in pressure cooker Peel and mash the potatoes.

Step 2 : Boil the green peas in water for 6/7 minutes or until softer.

Step 3 : Take a big bowl and add mashed potatoes,boiled green peas,Ginger paste,red chilli powder,garam masala,lemon juice,Chopped green chilli,corn flour,Chopped green coriander and salt.

Step 4 : Mix well all the ingredients and make a smooth dough.Now divide and roll dough in equal small portions.Make 10 to 12 balls.

Step 5 : Grease your palm with oil and take the one ball of mixture and press it between your palm gently and make a round 1/2 inch thick pattie.Make all patties like that. 

Step 6 : Now heat non sticky tawa on flame. When tawa is enough hot Drizzle 2-3 teaspoon oil over it.

Step 7 : Put 4-5 patties over hot tawa and cook until patties turns Golden brown.Allow the Pattie bottom to golden brown, turn the tikki otherside, and cook the tikki until golden brown from both sides.

Finally : Transfer to the serving plate Crispy Veg Potato Tikki is ready.Serve it with Tomato ketchup or any chutny.
